Additional Chinese translations of the GRI Standards, the world’s most widely adopted sustainability reporting framework, are now available.

​The recently updated versions of two Standards — ‘GRI 303: Water and Effluents 2018’ and ‘GRI 403: Occupational Health and Safety 2018’ – have been published in Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

The Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese translations can be downloaded free of charge from the GRI website.

The Simplified Chinese translations were coordinated by GRI Beijing Office and were peer reviewed by the following committees.
Water and Effluents 2018:

  • Ms. Liu Xiuping — SGS
  • Ms. Han Huijuan — TUV-SUD
  • Ms. Xu Zhenzhen — Alliance for Water Stewardship

Occupational Health and Safety 2018:

  • Ms. Liu Xiuping — SGS
  • Mr. Lin Hai -TUV-SUD
  • Mr. Liu Tao and Ms. Zhang Bei — Syntao

The Traditional Chinese translation was coordinated and carried out by BCSD Taiwan and peer reviewed by:

  • Chiu, Hsien-Sheng — AU Optronics Corporation
  • Lin, Hong-Lin — OHS Group, TECO Electric and Machinery
  • Cheng, Ching-Wu — Department of Safety, Health and Environmental Engineering, Ming Chi University of Technology
  • Jane Huang — BSI Taiwan

Those who are reporting on the topics of GRI 303 or GRI 403 for the first time are advised to adopt the new Standards for their reports. For those already reporting on these topics, the 2016 versions can continue to be used for reports or other materials published on or before 31 December 2020.
